The Mandalay is a newly refurbished hotel in Mevagissey providing comfortable, great value accommodation just 5 minutes walk from the harbour. The whole hotel is bookable for up to 19 guests split across 9 rooms. This is made up of 6 double rooms, 2 double & single combo rooms and 1 twin room. All have ensuite bathrooms, apart from one which has a separate private bathroom. Downstairs there is a comfortable seating area with floor to ceiling windows giving lovely views of the countryside. There is also an outdoor seating area. Mevagissey is a vibrant town with a great selection of pubs, restaurants, cafes, local craft shops and more, all just a short walk away. Free on-site parking (1 space per room guaranteed).

Visit Mevagissey Harbour

Experience a working harbour and watch the sardines being landed at night!

One of the main attractions in Mevagissey is the working harbour. Visit to see the fish being landed and learn about the day to day running of the harbour. Whilst in the harbour there is The History of Mevagissey museum and the aquarium with various boot trips available including mackerel fishing, wreck fishing, fast rib rides and the Fowey ferry for a change of scenery.

Thirty years ago, Heligan’s historic gardens were unknown and unseen; lost to the brambles of time since the outbreak of WW1. It was only the chance discovery of a door in the ruins that led to the restoration of this once great estate.
